Cold emailing or how to deal with cold emails

Need to get into the company? How about trying email? You might be thinking that times aren't really email friendly anymore. I can't entirely agree with that.

Yes, they all get tons of emails. Some end up in spam, others in the trash. But if you're persistent enough, you might even get a reply to your email. The magic is in the quantity.

Statistically, less than 2% of respondents answer the first cold email. The second one is answered by 5% . To the third one around 7%.

And now it comes.

The fourth email already gets around 20% of people responding, the fifth email over 30% of people and the sixth email also around 30%.

Don't wrap it up after the first email. That's the mistake most marketers make. The main argument is lack of time. Writing 6 emails, still over the course of say 3 weeks and with 50 customers... That's some 300 emails over 3 weeks to work normally.

Unless you're an email masochist, you'll stop doing that sooner or later.
